ArchiDoc and OASIS Group launch energy awareness and reduction programme
The OASIS Group, of which ArchiDoc is a part, places great importance on reducing energy consumption and a more sustainable operating model. This also applies to ArchiDoc’s operational centres, where we process documents. It is up to each and every employee how responsibly we behave and reduce the amount of heat, electricity and water consumed.
This is why the OASIS Group, followed by ArchiDoc, is preparing to systematically collect data on the heat, electricity and water consumption of each location: the operational centres, the document archives or the individual document offices. This will enable ArchiDoc and the OASIS Group – which is one of the largest document management and information system companies in Europe – to even more systematically monitor environmental and operational costs and actively manage this area.
ArchiDoc seeks to reduce environmental and operational costs in a number of ways, including by locating its operational centres in modern buildings with high thermal and energy specifications or by using intelligent enabling technologies.
Also, through its range of electronic document workflow systems, ArchiDoc helps customers to reduce the use of paper and thus the raw materials needed for their production, the space for storing them or the energy needed for transport.
