ArchiDoc SA implemented a project for Tauron Group, the biggest energy seller in Poland. The scope of the services we provided included scanning and indexing of 130,000 pages of documentation of several companies in the Group.

The project consisted in creating a data room, i.e. a central document base. It will facilitate the due diligence process resulting from the Tauron group’s preparations for a début on the stock exchange and ownership transformations of the group’s companies. Apart from scanning, documents were also indexed, i.e. identified in accordance with parameters previously defined by Tauron. ArchiDoc’s operators also divided documentation into particular categories, in compliance with the specification provided by the client. Files that were worked out were saved on electronic data carriers. The scope of the services also included indexing scanned images of electronic documents.

Apart from the high quality of the provided service, the key factor determining the selection of ArchiDoc was a short project implementation period. Within 10 days ArchiDoc managed to create a central electronic base of all documents necessary for a financial audit carried out in several companies in our group by external companies, which will contribute to considerable improvement of the entire procedure", said Paweł Gniadek, the spokesperson of Tauron Polska Energia.

The project was implemented for 10 days in the seat of Tauron Polska Energia in Katowice. 130 000 pages of documentation were processed within the framework of the project. ArchiDoc provided specialist infrastructure, know-how and a team dedicated to carry out the task. Documents were scanned and worked out, thanks to which external entities conducting an audit in the companies belonging to Tauron Group gained a quick and convenient access to the financial documentation of audited companies.
