ArchiDoc’s new operations centre in Chorzów
Owing to its dynamic development, ArchiDoc SA made a decision to establish a new operations centre. The company signed an agreement with Prologis Polska regarding lease of spaces located in the logistics park near Katowice and Chorzów.
Owing to its dynamic development, ArchiDoc SA made a decision to establish a new operations centre. The company signed an agreement with Prologis Polska regarding lease of spaces located in the logistics park near Katowice and Chorzów. The new facility, which will replace the Company’s other locations in Silesia, will have 10 thousand square metres of warehouse space and more than 2 thousand square metres of office space.
The process aimed to develop a part of the warehouse has already started and the launch of the activities in the new location is planned to take place on 1 April 2011. At the beginning in the company’s branch in Chorzów 400 persons will be employed; however, the building’s potential allows to increase this number up to 900 employees. ProLogis Park Chorzów is one of the largest logistics centres in Silesia. Situated in direct vicinity of A4 Kraków-Wrocław motorway, it is a perfect location for branches or warehouse halls of big enterprises.
"Expanding the logistics back-up facilities is a result of effective development of ArchiDoc and the increasing number of contracts in the scope of BPO. There were many arguments for selecting Prologis Park Chorzów, such as attractive price conditions and flexibility as regards adapting spaces to our needs. The decision to lease the property also results from the present situation on the development market that is attractive for signing long-term agreements", said Waldemar Nowicki, Vice President of the Management Board of ArchiDoc SA.
